Polyvinyl Chloride coatings have a wide variety of uses and are available in a large assortment of colors. The stock materials have a hardness ranging from high-flex 65 (Shore A) to rigid 60 (Shore D) durometers and appearances from glossy to textured. Special purpose formulas include materials that are antistatic, flame retardant, and high temperature, oil, gas and UV resistant. The glassware above is coated on the outside with a translucent coating that helps protect the glass from accidental breakage and subsequent loss of liquid contents.
