Chromate conversion coatings provide corrosion resistance and can be electrically conductive. It is an excellent base for paint and lubricants - there is no buildup in threaded areas. Russell Products is one of the few processors that have the capabilities to utilize this coating due to our state of the art waste treatment facility.

These large chromate parts are storage boxes that are affixed to military tanks. They conform to military specifications MIL-C-5541 Class 1A. These large parts are processed in a chromating tank 10 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft.
